| In the days before Christmas 2010 and the New Year, De Beers' Element Six filed a number of fascinating patents on new enhancement methods of CVD man-made diamonds. Though it is not news that synthetic diamonds can be color-enhanced by various systems, it is mind-boggling to see how much De Beers is investing in this type of research.
